Learners with multiple disabilities often have difficulty holding a musical instrument and playing it.  Creating a stand for instruments enables learners to play them more independently, by tapping, banging, or shaking them. Your music therapist may be able to help you locate commercially made mounts or stands or you can ask your favorite woodworker to help build some.
